WHO ARE WE?
Yarutso car rental is a mobility solutions company based in Harare Zimbabwe, headquartered at 109 Coronet Court Nelson Mandela Harare. The company was founded by Victor Tawanda Madzedze on 1 August 2019 after an epiphany of realizing that Harare car rentals solutions were expensive and out of reach for the ordinary customer. Yarutso has since grown to be one of the leading car rental companies in Harare Zimbabwe.
Yarutso Car rental is a licensed car rental operator with the Zimbabwe Tourism Authority with both a license and an operator’s certificate, we are also a member of the Zimbabwe Motor Vehicle association of Zimbabwe (ZIVRA) and also a member of Tourism Business Council of Zimbabwe all of which are done as a means of quality control and safety. Our goal is to give our clients the best mobility solutions at a reasonable budget without compromising on quality.
Yarutso car rental operates a fleet of 10 rental vehicles which includes 5 budget cars, 3 Mid SUVS and two trucks.
Our budget cars are Honda fit 2013 (GE6), Honda fit 2013 Hybrid (GP1) and Honda fit 2016 (GK3)
Our Mid SUVs are Nissan x trail 2017 and Toyota Vanguard 2013
Our Compact trucks has a Toyota Hilux 2015 (D4D)
By the end of 2024 we hope to have added a new Toyota Hilux 2015, A 30 seater bus and Toyota RAV 4 as we continue to widen our clients reach.
Our Management team comprises of 3 Managers and a few staffers.
General Manager – Victor T Madzedze. Victor is a passionate business leader with experience In Tobacco, Media, Advertising and now Mobility services and Tourism. Victors mandate from the shareholders of the company is to take care of you. Ensure that you’re adequately serviced and all your needs are managed from budget to itinerary.
Booking and Marketing Manager: Karen Chitsiku. Karen is a Marketing expert who graduated from the University of Zimbabwe, if you read through the reviews section on google my business you will see that Karen’s commands a good portion of the reviews, clients love her, why? Because she solves problems, be it a budget issue, be it a mileage issue, she has earned a reputation of managing our clients well.
Fleet Manager, Honest Nyanzou, Honest manages all the cars within the Yarutso car rental fleet this includes insurance, maintenance, GPS and tracking and fleet quality, we believe Honest is the most important Manager within our company because his job determines what the client experiences and that makes him an extremely important member of the Yarutso leadership, if you thought Karen has a large portion of reviews? So who are our clients? Yarutso primarily targets Diasporas which is Zimbabwe’s outside Zimbabwe who are returning to Zimbabwe for a few days, SMEs and Mid-sized companies who need mobility solutions be it contract fleets, pool cars and other needs for a car, we also target international tourists those that are visiting the beauties of Zimbabwe’s from Harare to Victoria falls, Harare to INyanga, Harare to Masvingo etc.
